Message From President

After 35 years in the ICI sector of the construction industry in the Ottawa Region, it became apparent the time for change was upon us. As Vice-President and co-owner of Ottawa GSB Construction I have had the privilege and honour of working on numerous landmark projects in the Capital Region with many of you. Circumstances dictated that a major move was necessary and as of early 2006 I decided to move on; creating the firm of SerCo Construction Ltd.

Much planning and preparation went into the birth of this company. Sound financial backing, suppliers, and office organization was arranged through lawyers and accountants; and the skilled labour, which is to be the cornerstone of this firm, is prepared to meet the challenges each new project presents. We are enthusiastic about our business plan and are anxious to build on our hard earned reputations by providing a new, invigorated, and cooperative approach that is more in line with the construction industry of 2006 and beyond. You have come to expect the finest craftsmanship from me and that will continue to be my legacy. You will however notice the changes we now bring.

What do we offer that sets us apart from our competitors? Our primary on site staff has an enviable collective experience. Our skill is second to none. Our backing is sound, but the most noticeable improvement will be in the on-site decision making process. With SerCo, the owner is there to make instant decisions. This will provide much more cooperative project coordination in planning, pricing of change orders, and work organization from material ordering and management through to the final inspections.

It is our goal to provide the finest service and quality workmanship in the industry. We will provide cooperative and prompt management decisions and intervention, and proper and professional project coordination. We will plan and coordinate our own project scheduling to ensure adequate manpower and supervision on all of our jobs. Each project is OUR project, to be built with pride and skill that will guarantee an invitation to your next endeavor.
